A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic practitioner to support teaching and learning across the primary phase while making a real impact on pupils’ progress.

The Role

• Delivering lessons and providing whole-class cover when required
• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Leading small group interventions to raise attainment and boost pupil progress
• Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEND
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or has equivalent experience
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Confident leading whole-class learning and intervention groups
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
