A welcoming and supportive primary school in Hertsmere is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic practitioner to support teaching and learning across the primary phase.

The Role

• Delivering lessons and providing whole-class cover when required
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Leading targeted intervention groups to raise attainment and support pupil progress
• Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or has equivalent experience
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Confident leading whole-class learning and intervention sessions
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
