Learning Support Assistant – Eastbourne
Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Engage Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Eastbourne from September 2026.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them access learning and develop both academically and socially.
About the role:
- Supporting pupils individually and in small groups
- Delivering targeted learning interventions
- Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Encouraging positive engagement and behaviour
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback
- Promoting independence and confidence
About you:
- Previous experience with children is desirable
- Friendly, patient, and adaptable
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about education
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Committed to safeguarding children
