Behaviour Mentor – Crawley
Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Engage Education is working with a supportive school in Crawley to recruit a Behaviour Mentor for a full-time role starting in September 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to engage positively in school life.
About the role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour support
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
- Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff
- Implementing behaviour support strategies
- Monitoring progress and recording outcomes
- Encouraging confidence, resilience, and independence
About you:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for supporting pupils to succeed
- Able to remain positive in challenging situations
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
