About the Role
As a Trainee Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
     
  • Working with children with SEND, including Autism,
     
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation
     
  • Supporting learning across literacy, numeracy, and intervention sessions
     
  • Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
     
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning
     
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

Essential Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
     

Desirable (Not Essential)
 

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
     
  • Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
     

Please note: Applicants must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded apprenticeship or qualification programme.
