Art and Design Teacher Required for Secondary School in Keighley

About the role
We are working with the school to recruit an enthusiastic and creative teacher who can commit to the position for the entirety of the academic year (and beyond), teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4. This is a long-term position starting in September 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Experience of teaching Photography would be desirable, although this is not essential, and applications are welcomed from candidates with a strong background in Art and Design who are keen to broaden their skillset.

About you
- QTS with an Art and Design specialism
- Experience teaching Art and Design at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school
- Experience teaching Photography is desirable but not essential
- Proven background of securing strong pupil progress and outcomes
- A passion for creativity and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
- A commitment to supporting the wider ethos and values of the school
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
- Ambition to develop professionally and contribute to the continued success of the department
