The Role

• Full class teacher responsibility for a Year 1 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Supporting pupils through the transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1
• Delivering high-quality phonics teaching and supporting early literacy development
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS or KS1
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
• Committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
