Science Teacher – Manchester – September 2026

A superb secondary school in the north of Manchester is eager to find a fantastic Science Teacher able to provide high quality education to KS3 & KS4 students across the Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects. 

This is a full-time Science Teacher position due to a long-term MAT leave in which the successful candidate will be required to plan and conduct lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The school are open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on finding a Teacher passionate about student development and the ability to engage.

Science Teacher – Role Information:

• Planning and conducting high quality KS3 & KS4 Science learning experiences
• Teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects
• Monitoring student progress and feeding back to relevant department leads
• Located in the Manchester area
• Paid £140 – £200 per day during term time
• September 2026 start – Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours

Science Teacher – About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Science
• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
• Good or better prior teaching observations
• Comfortable teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects
• Available for long-term or permanent work
