Reception Teaching Assistant Required for a Primary School in Mitcham, Merton

About the role:

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant for a welcoming Primary School in Mitcham, Merton.

This is a full-time position starting in mid-June and continuing until the end of the academic year in July, with the potential to continue into September for the right candidate.

The school has a supportive team and is committed to providing an excellent learning environment for its pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with the Reception class teacher, supporting children with their learning, development, and transition into school life.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children in EYFS, Nursery, or Reception settings
• A positive and nurturing approach to supporting young learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting children’s learning through play-based activities
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• A proactive and flexible attitude
