About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Is an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced English specialist
• Has a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective English lessons
• Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring a love of reading and writing
• Brings creativity, enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the classroom
• Has high expectations for both achievement and behaviour
• Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to wider school life

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive English lessons
• Assess, monitor and evaluate student progress, providing meaningful feedback
• Foster a positive classroom culture where students feel confident to participate and succeed
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain accurate records of progress, attainment and attendance
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support student outcomes
• Contribute to extracurricular opportunities and wider enrichment activities
• Continually develop your practice through professional learning and reflection
