Engage Education is working with a successful secondary school in Southampton to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop confidence and achievement in mathematics.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and help students reach their full academic potential.

About the role:

• Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
• Monitoring and assessing student progress
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

About you:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
