About the role

We are working with the school to recruit a passionate and creative Design and Technology teacher who can commit to the position for the entirety of the academic year (and beyond!), teaching both KS3 and KS4. The school welcomes applicants from all DT specialisms, including Resistant Materials, Product Design, Food Technology, Graphics, Engineering, or Textiles.

This is a long-term position starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will be someone with a genuine passion for Design and Technology who can create a stimulating, engaging, and creative classroom environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential.

About you

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism
• Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school
• Open to any DT specialism
• Proven background of high pupil progress
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
• Passionate about creating engaging and creative learning experiences
