About the role

This is a full-time role in which you will be expected to support pupils across the classroom, assist with lesson delivery, and help maintain strong behaviour management. The school’s vision is to develop well-rounded citizens through a balanced curriculum and requires a proactive Teaching Assistant who can think on their feet and adapt support to meet the needs of individual pupils.

You will be working alongside an extremely supportive and collaborative department with a team of excellent practitioners.

The ideal candidate

• Extensive experience working with secondary school pupils
• Experience supporting students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
• Relevant TA qualification preferred
• Strong classroom support background
• Available for interview and observation
• Committed and proactive in regards to engaging students
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
