Katie Tattersall

I am a SEND consultant at Engage Education, mainly working with SEND schools within East and West Sussex. I switched from teaching English in a Secondary School to joining recruitment as I already have the foundational knowledge of the education sector and wanted to join the fast-paced, collaborative and rewarding environment. I am enthused to work with SEND schools because the demand for SEND schools rises each year. It’s crucial to support, and it feels like I am making a difference. As an avid reader, I was drawn to teaching. I taught English to years 7-13 for five years, which provided me with in-depth experience and allowed me to make a difference in the classroom.
