Teaching Assistant Opportunities in Tameside

£90 to £115 per day

Engage Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools across Tameside.

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and want to support pupils both in and out of the classroom.

The Role

You may be:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis

• Working with small groups

• Assisting teachers during lessons

• Supporting children with Special Educational Needs

• Helping pupils stay focused and engaged with their learning

Roles are available in both mainstream and specialist settings.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children is desirable

• Positive and patient approach

• Good communication skills

• Reliable and professional

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

School experience is beneficial but not essential. We also welcome applications from people with experience in childcare, youth work, coaching, care work or similar support roles.
