The Role
- Providing high-quality PPA cover across the primary age range
- Teaching engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Following existing planning and adapting lessons where required
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers complete their PPA time
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Confident teaching across different year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, adaptable and able to build relationships quickly
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Able to work independently while also being part of a wider school team
