Are you a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school?
We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with their learning, confidence and development while gaining valuable experience within education.
The Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Work closely with class teachers to support learning and progress
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities
- Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills
- Support with classroom preparation and day-to-day activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s education
- Patient, caring and positive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Reliable, adaptable and proactive
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous
