Personalised Learning Mentors for Schools

Intervention Solution

Targeted support from specialist learning tutors

Our personalised learning mentors cover a diverse range of pupil needs and have been a welcome addition to our intervention solution. We provide a range of ongoing training to support our mentors with this work and they understand the effects of the Covid era on children’s well-being.

What type of learning mentors can we provide?

Behaviour Support Mentors Behaviour Support Mentors

Our mentors are trained to help pupils talk about and understand the root causes of their challenging behaviour so that they can effect change within themselves. Each of our mentors has a compassionate approach to understanding the traumas and challenges of individual pupils which has helped many to improve their learning significantly while strengthening relationships with peers to create valued friendship groups. We aim to always work closely with your school and class teachers to help keep pupils integrated and focused on engaging and learning in class.

Friendship Mentors Friendship Mentors

Loneliness and anxiety have become increasingly prevalent since the start of the Covid era. Our mentors are equipped with experience and training to help address the needs of pupils who appear increasingly withdrawn and anxious. Understanding the needs of the individual and helping them to integrate and improve their basic social skills will be crucial work over the next few years and our mentors are determined to grow as professionals and deliver life-changing results.

EAL Support EAL Support

We can provide home-language tutors and in-class mentors to help those whose progress in English has suffered because of the lack of support available at home during the pandemic. This support provides them with greater competence in English and can significantly improve confidence and progress across the academic spectrum. Our mentors not only support pupils in school but are trained to liaise with families in order to improve communication with the school.

SEND Support SEND Support

We have a long history of providing mainstream and specialist schools with teaching support staff who are trained in specific aspects of SEND. Our dedicated SEND team has the experience and knowledge to provide the right support across a wide range of complex and specific needs. Our specialist candidates have specific experience with: learning difficulties, social and behavioural difficulties, mental health conditions, visual and social impairments
