Engage joins the Hertfordshire County Council Framework to deliver Tuition, Alternative Education and Therapy

In September 2022, we were delighted to be accepted as a supplier on the Hertfordshire County Council Framework for Tuition, Alternative Education and Therapy.

Why were we selected?

As an agency that’s been operating in the SEND space for over a decade, we felt best placed to deliver exceptional staffing to schools that utilise this framework. Our dedicated SEND team has a proven track record for supporting alternative provision, Tuition, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Individual Support (coaching, mentoring etc), and more.

As an approved Tuition Partner on the National Tutoring Programme, we’ve also been supporting a number of provisions with specialist tuition and support, including the North Yorkshire Virtual School and Leeds City Council’s SENSAP Team. We have supported young people with needs including SEMH, Autism, Complex Needs and those who are “looked after”. The ages have ranged from those in EYFS through to Post 16.

All tutors we recruit for this contract will be trained to the same high standards we’ve pledged for all tuition delivered by Engage on the National Tutoring Programme. All tutors will have Qualified Teacher Status, Therapy and counselling experience or evidence of expertise in the area they’re supporting. All tutors will also have experience working with children with additional needs. For tutors supporting young people with a sensory impairment, we’ll ensure they hold the relevant mandatory qualifications (QTVI, QTMSI, ToD). All Speech Therapists and Occupational therapists will be registered with The Health and Care Professions Council during placements.

How can Engage help schools within Hertfordshire?

We’re able to help schools in Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, North Herts, Stevenage, St Albans, Three Rivers, Watford, Welwyn and Hatfield to secure Tuition, Alternative Education and Therapy, in both face-to-face and virtual capacities.
