Facilities Manager required in two schools in Bromley
We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager to work across two sites in the Bromley area.
This is mostly a hands off position, however there will be times when short of staff or an overload of work, where you will need to assist with the odd caretaking duty.
School 1 is a primary in Orpington
School 2 is a secondary in Bromley
Hours: Mostly core hours(36) but may need to cover some early/late shifts where needed.
Salary: £48,000 – £52,000
Person Specification
Hold or working towards a suitable, relevant, qualification, such
as IOSH or NEBOSH
Familiarity with COSHH
Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Experience of working in a similar role in the education sector
Management and supervision of staff
Customer focused attitude and proven ability to deliver service
improvement and work to deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team, understanding schools’ roles
and responsibilities and your own position within these
Knowledge/experience of managing planned, preventative
maintenance and compliance schedules
Ability to follow and promote policies and procedures
Clear communication skills, written and oral, including the ability
to negotiate effectively
