As an Early Years Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you’ll be an important part of the classroom team, helping young children learn, grow and develop.

Your role could include:

  • Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping deliver engaging play-based learning activities
  • Supporting phonics, early reading and numeracy
  • Encouraging children’s communication, confidence and independence
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
  • Helping with classroom activities, displays and learning resources
  • Building positive relationships with children and staff
  • Supporting a safe, nurturing and inclusive EYFS environment
  • Learning from experienced teachers and Early Years professionals
