Lewis Bevil

I am a Partnership Manager at Engage Education, mainly working with schools across North and East London as well as Hertfordshire. I’ve just started in the recruitment sector! I have worked with schools and training providers for the majority of my career to date, but I was attracted to recruitment for its fast-paced nature and the opportunity to support schools in a new environment. I am passionate about making a difference in local communities. A school is one of the pillars of a community, and we have the chance to work with them to provide outstanding teaching staff who can make an incredible impact in schools that need them most.

I am passionate about education, learning and development. For this reason, I have worked in commercial roles in the learning space for the last 8 years, working with major brands in the industry, such as Pearson, and high-growth start-ups focused on bringing entrepreneurship and life skills educational solutions to schools. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with schools, universities and professional training providers to improve the learning experience through software platforms, e-learning courses and professional L&D. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to get involved in facilitation and training within these environments, to mentor, nurture and guide others to reach their potential. In particular, I’ve found a strong interest in coaching and helping people build confidence and direction in their early careers.
