Gemma White
Hi, I’m Gemma and I am the SEND Consultant for West Sussex and Hampshire. I have been working at Engage since 2023. When I started here I was working with the mainstream schools in Hampshire, but I jumped at the chance to move over to our SEND team, where my true passion lies. I have developed great relationships with the special schools around West Sussex and Hampshire, which is helped by my understanding of different SEND needs, and support them in their recruitment of teachers and support staff.
I have always had an interest in SEND, being an active member of my local SEND swimming club all through my school years, working with children of all ages with a range of SEND needs, as well as having personal family experience with SEND needs, such as Autism and ADHD. I really love being able to use this to help my local schools find the best quality staff possible!
