Train to teach with Engage

Our two-year salaried route into teaching allows graduates to attain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through flexible learning at great local schools. There are no course fees, and you’ll even earn a salary while you gain hands-on teaching experience. At the end of the course, you will receive an internationally-recognised postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE).

course requirements:

  • For Primary teacher training, any undergraduate degree
  • For Secondary teacher training, you must hold an undergraduate degree relevant to the subject you wish to teach
  • GCSE Grade C/Level 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • To teach at Primary Level you will also require a GCSE Grade C/Level 4 in Science (or equivalent)
  • Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics are all sought after by our partner schools
  • The passion and drive to become a teacher long-term
