When you train to become a teacher with Engage, you won’t have to take any time out of your new career to study, and you’ll even earn a salary while you train.

The Teacher Training Programme is the only modular and flexible postgraduate programme of its kind, giving you the freedom to train in a way that reflects your experience and ambitions. On top of this, studying to get your teaching qualification with Engage and our partner university is completely, 100% free.

Train to teach with Engage

Our two-year salaried route into teaching allows graduates to attain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through flexible learning at great local schools. There are no course fees, and you’ll even earn a salary while you gain hands-on teaching experience. At the end of the course, you will receive an internationally-recognised postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE).

course requirements:

  • Any undergraduate degree
  • GCSE Grade C/Level 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • To teach at Primary Level you will also require a GCSE Grade C/Level 4 in Science (or equivalent)
  • The passion and drive to become a teacher long-term
