Year 4 Teacher Required – Independent Prep School in Kingston upon Thames
About the role:
Engage Education is working with a highly regarded independent preparatory school in Kingston upon Thames that is seeking a full-time Year 4 Teacher to start as soon as possible.
This is a full-class teaching role, Monday to Friday, running for the remainder of the 2026/27 academic year. You will join a welcoming and ambitious school community that places high value on excellent teaching, pastoral care and helping every pupil fulfil their potential.
The school has a strong Catholic ethos and welcomes pupils from all faiths and backgrounds. The successful teacher will be comfortable supporting the wider life of the school, including assemblies, prayers, RE and liturgical events.
The ideal applicant will be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experienced teaching Year 4, Year 5 or KS2 in a UK school
- Confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
- An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
- Enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards
- Comfortable contributing positively to the school’s Catholic ethos and community life
- Independent-school experience is desirable, but not essential
