A welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.
The Role
- Take responsibility for a Year 3 class
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Support pupils as they transition from KS1 into KS2
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Previous Year 3 or lower KS2 experience would be desirable
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Organised, reliable and adaptable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
