About the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, inspiring pupils and supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting planning and teaching strategies to ensure all children are appropriately challenged and supported.

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour, high expectations and a love of learning.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

• Encourage pupils to develop resilience, independence and a growth mindset, helping them recognise the value of effort and learn from mistakes.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team to support curriculum development and share effective teaching practice.

• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating effectively to support pupils’ progress, development and wellbeing.
