Are you a passionate Primary Teacher with QTS looking for a new opportunity this academic year? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in St Albans to recruit a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher who can commit to a full-time position.

About the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and high-quality lessons across the KS1 primary curriculum, inspiring a love of learning and supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using assessment information to inform planning, address misconceptions and ensure all children make strong progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour, high expectations, confidence and wellbeing.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and higher-attaining learners, ensuring every child can access and succeed within the curriculum.
- Build on pupils’ prior learning, ensuring lessons are well sequenced and provide appropriate challenge, support and opportunities for independent learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team to contribute to curriculum planning, school initiatives, educational visits and enrichment opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating effectively to support pupils’ learning, development and overall wellbeing.
- Contribute to the school’s wider ethos of kindness, tolerance, respect and mutual support.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and ensuring every pupil feels happy, safe and valued.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher with QTS. You will have high expectations of pupils, strong classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
