About the Role
Working within a busy, welcoming Nursery setting, you will play an active role in creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for early learners. You will support continuous play-based provision both indoors and in expansive outdoor learning spaces, assist with early communication and language development, and help nurture essential self-care, social, and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting continuous play-based provision and outdoor learning across the Nursery setting.
- Leading small-group activities focused on early listening, communication, and basic numeracy concepts.
- Assisting the Nursery Lead with observations, learning journals, and tracking developmental milestones.
- Fostering independence, personal hygiene, and social skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Supporting children with additional needs or speech and language delays through targeted 1:1 interaction.
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification preferred (e.g., CACHE Level 3).
- Experience: Previous hands-on experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting within a primary school or private day nursery.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and early child development.
- Attributes: Energetic, patient, creative, and nurturing with a genuine love for working with young children.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Full eligibility to work in the UK with professional references covering the last two years.
