SEND Teaching Assistant – School in Reigate 

I am currently working with a lovely school in Reigate who are urgently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support their primary-age pupils to start immediately.

About the role:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

• ASC (verbal and non-verbal)

• Learning difficulties

• Complex needs

One site caters for children with severe or profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, including children with Autism with the other catering for pupils with Complex Social Communication Needs

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils.

You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs (professionally or personally) or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
