Teacher of Chemistry – Basildon (TLR available)

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school within Basildon. We are currently recruiting for a permanent Teacher of Chemistry who can teach Chemisty across KS4/KS5 to start in September 2024. 

About the role:

This is a permanent role teaching Chemistry to Key Stage 4/5 students. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for these young adults. The school can offer a TLR for experienced Chemistry Teachers. The role is open to either experienced Teachers or ECTs. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and a healthy work-life balance.

About you:

• Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students

• Have experience teaching Chemistry a KS4 and KS5

• Have a proven track record of raising attainment and successful GCSE and A-Level results 

• A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
