Or If you already work as a Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant, looking to work with children and young people with Special Needs and Learning Disabilities, then we have a role for you.

I am currently working with a Special Needs school in the Wakefield area, seeking an enthusiatsic and pro-active Behaviour Mentor and or Teaching Assistant.

This setting caters to students with various complexities, behaviours that challenge, SEMH, Autism and some students who have extreme Anxiety.

As a Behaviour Mentor and or Teaching Assistant, you will be required to complete all day-to-day classroom activities and maintain continuous routines for pupils. In addition, you will be helping children hit their daily targets and even longer projects such as their short and long-term goals.

The Position:

  • Wakefield
  • Mix of KS2/3 class groups
  • Students with; Learning Disabilities, SEMH, Trauma, Autism, and Anxiety.
  • Students with CAMHS and ECHPs
  • 8:30am – 16:00pm – Monday through to Friday – Long term contract (term time only)
  • Immediate start

Applicant Requirements:

  • Ideally have experience working with children in a school setting – SEMH/Trauma/Autism/Therapy-related work
  • Must have a creative and positive mindset and want to make an impact in pupils educational and personal development

Pay:

  • £80 – £100 per day
  • Weekly payments (Term Time only)
  • PAYE or Umbrella Options
