We are seeking an empathetic, nurturing and supportive Young Offenders Support Worker to join the Engage team and work with one of our Calderdale-based Alternative Education provision schools

• Earn up to £600 per week in a rewarding full-time role

• Monday to Friday only – no weekends with early afternoon finishes

• Develop valuable experience in SEND, SEMH and behaviour support with guidance from experienced school leaders

• Work in a supportive alternative education setting with small class sizes and meaningful impact

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs and complex behaviours

• Access free CPD training and ongoing professional development through Engage Education

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact to the lives of young people with SEMH needs who may have a disengaged outlook on education. You will benefit from in-depth support from the school leadership team and develop your knowledge of SEND and SEMH.
