Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school community in Watford from the Summer Term.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and who is keen to make a positive difference to pupils at a key stage of their primary education.

About the Role

• Full responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning, teaching and assessment

• Delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff

• Supporting pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and high expectations for all pupils

• Is reflective, organised and enthusiastic about teaching and learning

• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
