Train to be a Teaching Assistant on our Early Career Teaching Assistant Programme!
We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to begin working and training as an Children’s SEND Teaching Assistant who will support our school in Worthing by helping children and young people with a variety of needs; Complex Needs (Hearing impairments, Autism, Speech and language delay) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to move into a career in teaching. You will benefit from in-depth support and training from the school, and develop your knowledge of the national curriculum.
About the role:

Gain a Special Educational Needs, Teaching Assistant Qualification!

Have access to over 200+ Modules (Phonics, SEND, Classroom practice etc, Supporting additional needs, Understanding Autism, Understanding attachment, Complex Needs)

Develop your understanding of Education and how to support children

Tailor your programme around your interests – Complex Needs, SEMH, Mainstream, Speech and Language, Autism etc. Develop key skills in these areas!

Develop academic knowledge whilst gaining valuable experience within our schools

Develop First-Hand experience in the classroom

Be paid between £76 – £85 per day

About you:

Be passionate about supporting the development of children and young adults

Be personable, kind and empathetic

Be versatile, willing to learn and develop your skills

Be confident, and have a strong sense of behaviour management

Have some experience with children, or be passionate about doing so

Driver – preferable but not essential
The Training Programme
Our Early Career Teaching Assistant Programme consists of on the job training in a school alongside a bespoke CPD programme, developed by ex-senior leaders and our CPD Partners, Creative Education. You’ll learn:

As part of your enrollment on the Early Years Teaching Assistant Programme, you’ll have free access to over 300 courses to help you develop your skills in specialised areas.
