We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary and secondary schools across Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom environment.

The role may involve general classroom support, small group work, or 1:1 support depending on the needs of the school.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning

• Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

• Working with small groups or individual pupils

• Supporting pupils with varying abilities, including SEND where required

• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

• Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)

• Be patient, proactive and adaptable

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be enthusiastic about education and supporting pupil progress

• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
