SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Worthing
Engage Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Worthing who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing environment where staff are valued and supported.
About the role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting children with Autism and additional needs
Helping pupils to engage in lessons and school activities
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Full time, Monday to Friday
Start ASAP
About you
Experience working with children or young people
Experience supporting SEND is desirable but not essential
Patient, caring, and adaptable
Strong communication skills
Passionate about supporting children
