Teaching Assistant

We are working with a local Special Needs School in the Lambeth Borough seeking a Teaching Assistant for their PMLD needs.

Working with children with various physical disabilities, Complex Needs, Autism, and PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities.)

The school has a vibrant environment, large sensory rooms, and sensory focused support work for pupils with heightened complex needs.

PMLD Teaching Assistant

Start- September 2024

Long-term contract and temp to perm

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Term time only

Parking on site (depending on school premises)

The role and School:

Working one to one with PMLD needs and other Learning Disabilities

Assisting with Hydrotherapy sessions and personal care

Working as part of a team to support and get the best out of the students

They offer various respite support for the local community

All children have an Educational Health and Care Plan.

The school works in partnership with local Therapy support in the community – this would be a great opportunity for Psychology Grads!
