Our educational recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced British Sign Language Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Islington

As a BSL TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of students in a vibrant educational environment. You will work closely with teachers and students to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, facilitating an effective learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with diverse learning needs
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to track student progress
• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential
