About the School:
This large, inclusive school is dedicated to supporting students with Complex Needs in Eastbourne. They are seeking a confident and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of their students.
Role Overview:
The Individual Needs Assistant will support KS1 and KS2 children, including a young adult (16+) with a range of learning needs, communication barriers, and challenging behaviours. This role requires someone calm yet assertive, capable of building rapport and understanding individual needs to promote development and positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualised learning activities tailored to the needs of KS1 and KS2 students.

Be intuitive to the students’ emotions and adapt daily routines accordingly.

Support students in developing communication skills and managing challenging behaviours.

Collaborate with a supportive team to foster an inclusive learning environment.
