Role Overview
As a dedicated Maths and English Teacher (QTS), you will be instrumental in delivering the core subjects of Maths and English to our KS3 and KS4 students. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating meaningful learning experiences that cater to each student’s unique needs. Working with a supportive team, you’ll be encouraged to develop innovative strategies to engage students, help them achieve success, and inspire them to reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
- Teach Maths and English to KS3 and KS4 students, tailoring lessons to their needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans that focus on individual progress.
- Create a positive, safe, and structured learning environment where students feel valued and understood.
- Collaborate with our dedicated pastoral and therapeutic staff to ensure holistic support for each student.
- Champion resilience, confidence, and perseverance in your students, equipping them with skills for both academic and personal growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong foundation in both Maths and English.
- Proven experience (or a strong interest) in working with students with SEMH needs.
- Patience, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to helping young people overcome obstacles.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work alongside colleagues and families.
