About the role:

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for a forward thinking teacher to work full-time at a local church school, whose Christian values are embedded and fully integral to all that is done. 

The school is situated in a beautiful rural area which facilities the ethos of children becoming outdoor experts, utilising their forest school programme, as well as being the ideal backdrop for creating a stimulating and inspiring learning culture where everyone's achievements and differences are celebrated.

The underpinned values are encouraged to flourish through a carefully designed curriculum where children are supported to increase their knowledge and understanding of concepts, events, people and places. The schools oracy, reading, speaking and listening skills, are at the heart of this; the school fundamentally understands the critical links between those skills and achievement later on in the school journey, to ensure the children are able to navigate our ever changing world.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS
• Experienced in teaching KS1 children
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• An outstanding teacher with a love of children and teaching
• Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom
