Primary Teacher Required for a Warm and Inclusive Primary School in Purley, Croydon

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Purley, Croydon, who are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The role will initially be a maternity cover; however, there is a strong opportunity for the successful candidate to secure a permanent position from September, as a member of staff is due to retire in July.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative staff team in a school where children are polite, enthusiastic, and genuinely keen to learn. The Senior Leadership Team place a strong emphasis on reducing teacher workload, and staff wellbeing is a key priority across the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging, creative lessons within a nurturing environment. The school is happy to consider ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS

• Experienced in teaching KS1 and/or KS2

• Confident in delivering the National Curriculum

• A committed and reflective practitioner with a love of teaching

• Able to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils

• Keen to work in a school that values wellbeing and work–life balance
