SEND School Teaching Assistant – Worthing

I am currently working with a lovely SEN school based in Worthing who are urgently seeking a behavioural specialist to support their secondary age pupils on a 1:1 basis to start immediately.

About the role:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental health)
• Behavioural Difficulties
• Severe Learning Difficulties. 

This is a full time, long term position until July 2024 on a long term contract.

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with ASC/SEMH students and are enthusiastic about raising attainment of their pupils.

You will ideally have experience of supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion to work with students with special educational needs. Working with Theatre in Education (TIE) or workshops with children are beneficial. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build up relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
