SEN Tutor 

Engage Education are currently supporting a young person in the Leeds area who is in need of 1:1 tuition outside of school until a suitable setting is identified.

This role will be based in a local library and will cover a range of subjects. This is a LAC who hasn’t been in full time education for a long period of time and so engagement levels are low.

You would need to be able to plan and deliver short sessions.

Your Role:

• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis
• Delivering lessons online
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents and other stakeholders
• You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities 

What you will need:

• A range of behaviour management techniques
• To have worked with learners with a range of needs
• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
• To be able to commit to working with young people for a period of time to ensure consistency of learning
• A resilient attitude
