Science Teacher – September Start

Engage Education is currently working with a number of different schools in the Hertfordshire area. Depending on your location, we can usually try to find a school that would work for you. And we are seeking confident and capable Science teachers for September starts. The successful applicant will be expected to lead engaging and inspirational lessons to all pupils and effectively manage a classroom. 

This is a temporary position to start but can be extended to permanent for the right candidate!

The incoming Science Teacher will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject. You must have good subject knowledge and be able to teach up to GCSE and A – Level preferably

Early Career Teachers are more than welcome to apply

You must:

• Hold QTS
• Have experience delivering Science across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
• Ideally be able to teach Science to KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning within an Science Department to a high standard

You will be joining a supportive staff team, working towards rising student attainment through outstanding teaching and learning. As a member of this school, you can expect to receive ongoing support and training. The school has an ofsted rating of good and is a mixed school of 11-18 year olds. The students attitude towards learning is positive and the school is searching for a teacher to help keep this up.
