School Autism Support Worker

Engage Education are currently working with a thriving special school in Bradford who are urgently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with their pupils aged 11-19 on a full-time Monday – Friday basis, starting as soon as possible.

About the role:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

• ASC (verbal and non-verbal)

• Learning difficulties

• Complex needs

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with severe ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils.

You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. We are also keen to hear from people from a Care/Support Worker background.
