Reception Teaching Assistant Required for Primary School in Elmbridge Surrey– Start WC 3rd November

About the role:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Sutton from the week commencing 3rd November.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality early years support staff to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and development of their pupils.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils across the Early Years curriculum

• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy sessions

• Providing 1:1 and small group support

• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

• Supporting class routines and children’s social and emotional development

The ideal applicant will have:

• Experience working in an Early Years or Reception class setting

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning
