We are currently recruiting a passionate and proactive Psychology Graduate to join a vibrant, inclusive Primary School in Manchester. This school features a fantastic, purpose-built SEND provision. This unique setup allows you to gain invaluable experience in a highly specialised, resource-rich environment while remaining part of a warm, mainstream primary school community.

This long-term opportunity begins in Sept 2026 and is ideal for someone looking to make a genuine impact on the early stages of children’s educational journeys.

Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Based within the school’s dedicated SEND building, you will provide critical early-intervention support to primary-aged pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

• Tailored Primary Support: Delivering personalised learning support, working with young children individually or in small groups to hit key developmental milestones.
• Sensory & Play-Based Work: Utilising the specialised building’s facilities to lead sensory activities that promote emotional regulation and engagement.
• Resource Adaption: Helping to prepare creative, visual, and tactile resources that make the primary curriculum accessible.
• Progress Tracking: Providing insightful feedback to teachers, therapists, and parents about student progress, behaviour patterns, and milestones.
• Specialist Early-Years Support: Working closely with pupils who have Autism, Speech & Language communication needs, and Severe Learning Difficulties, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
