Engage Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Tameside to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a full-time temporary position, initially running until October half term.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive.

About the Role

As the class teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported
• Assess pupils’ progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Promote excellent behaviour and high expectations throughout the classroom
• Contribute to the wider life of the school during your placement

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or an ECT due to complete induction requirements)
• Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Flexible, organised and able to hit the ground running
• Committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential
